Review by hotel critic
Stepping into the Paramount Hotel in downtown Portland was like entering a hidden gem in the heart of the city. the warm smiles and exceptional hospitality of the staff, especially the front desk gentlemen, made me feel truly welcome from the moment I arrived - a perfect blend of German efficiency and American charm. the king bed was a haven of relaxation, complemented by a fantastic bathtub and walk-in shower - a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The central location of the hotel was ideal for me, as I love being within walking distance of theaters, music venues, and cultural sites. It was a treat to discover the nearby Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals, a hidden gem for any enthusiast of natural history. While I often travel solo, this time I was joined by a fellow theater aficionado, and we both appreciated the proximity to the spacious theater hosting Broadway productions and other live performances. Our evenings were filled with entertainment, seamlessly blending with our love for the arts. The Paramount Hotel's attention to detail, from the cleanliness of the room to the friendly interactions with the staff, left a lasting impression on me. As someone who values personalized experiences and cultural immersion, this hotel exceeded my expectations and provided a memorable stay in Portland. Overall, the Paramount Hotel is a true standout in the bustling city, offering a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and entertainment. I can't wait to return with my theatre-loving friends to indulge in the vibrant arts scene that Portland has to offer, starting with another delightful stay at this remarkable hotel.
